Dak's Lash Lifts And Tints

What is a lash lift?

A lash lift is a semi-permanent treatment that curls and lifts your natural lashes, giving them a longer, fuller, and more dramatic look. This treatment takes around 40-60 minutes and lasts between 6-8 weeks. If you're looking for a way to enhance your natural lashes without the use of extensions or falsies, a lash lift + tint might be the perfect option for you. I encourage every one of my lash clients to start a lash serum prior to your first lash  service. Even with consistent lifts and use of a quality serum it can take 2-3 lifts before were getting the very best results!

Brow Lamination

What is a brow lamination?

A brow lamination is a treatment that involves lifting, setting, and shaping your eyebrows to give them a fuller and more defined look. This treatment usually takes around 45-60 minutes and lasts between 6-8 weeks. A tint + eyebrow wax is the perfect add-on to this service to achieve the perfect brows! Eyebrow waxing also includes carefully mapping your brow in order to achieve your dream eyebrows! Just like my lash lift clients, I always encourage the use of a serum at home for the best results. If you are booking your very first brow lamination ever I suggest booking this service without the tint. We can always add a tint on at the end of your service after you have checked out your new brows! Feel free to schedule a brow consult if you have any questions.

24 hours after your treatment

24 hours after your lash lift or brow treatment, its important to take certain precautions to ensure the treatment lasts as long as possible. The most important thing is to avoid moisture for the first 24 hours. Here are some other things to avoid during this time:

  • Avoid applying makeup: While it might be tempting to touch up your lashes or brows with a bit of powder or mascara it is best to avoid makeup during this time. This is because the solutions need time to fully set and any additional products could interfere with the process.
  • Avoid touching or excessive rubbing: This can cause hairs to become displaced and may cause unnecessary irritation.
  • Avoid using oil-based products: This goes back to interfering with the solutions.
  • Avoid sweating, saunas or hot showers: Rule #1, NO MOISTURE!

Maintenance

  • Brow Laminations: At about week 4, brows will begin to require some assistance from a brow gel or glue. This is due to your natural hair growth cycle.
  • 4 weeks post lamination/lift: It is recommended to come back in for waxing and/or tinting to refresh brows and lashes.
  • Brush your lashes and/or brows regularly: Using a spoolie brush through the treatment area regularly to style and maintain your new look.
  • Consider using a lash and/or brow serum: Serums can be a valuable addition to your service as they help nourish, condition, and strengthen hairs.
  • Rescheduling: These services can be redone every 6-8 weeks, make sure to schedule accordingly and in advance whenever possible. Maintenance and consistency is key!
